Djack

Sculptures
From the operating room to the sculpture studio there is only step crossed by Jacques Demortier, aka 'Djack'. A sudden desire to radically change direction after working as an anaesthetist during a dozen years leads him to La Cambre, where he takes courses in architecture, then in the workshop of Joseph Wauters, a master ironworker who introduces him to the metalworking. The values he transmits through his work are those of Movement, Balance and Nature. These works are essentially parts to be placed outdoors in the open context of a garden, in the middle of nature. His mission is to create an emotion with a line or set of lines.
